当客户对你说No,莫要放弃 Don't quit when your customer says NO

有这么一类客户,当我们尝试开发该客户,发出开发信或者试图进一步提供产品详情, 诱发谈判的时候,他们会果断地说:
There are some potential customers we usually meet that whenever we try to send them more details for further communication regarding business cooperation, they will answer directly like below:
NO, we have suppliers already.
NO, I don't need them actually.
NO, we have quit this business.
NO, not the right time.
NO, the market is low here.
等等。
当然,Mike只是列举了一些例子而已,他们的说辞举之不尽。
Of course, the examples mentioned above are just some of that. You can never have them all listed.
一些业务员在吃了闭门羹以后,似乎OK, thanks. 是他们唯一能回复客户的方式了,然后大步走开,寻找下一目标。
Some salesmen will walk away directly for the next target. It seems that "Ok, Thank you" has been the only answer they can revert back to.
其实,很多时候,谈判的开启在于我们的坚持与引导。
Actually,at most times, the business talk is opened by our insistence and guidance.
Mike有一个客户来自澳大利亚,跟了两年,每次回复都大概在说我们打算回归这个生意,但是还不是时候,但是他们很感激Mike不断的为他们提供市场和产品信息。像这样的,总会有生意的,重点在于坚持。
I have a customer from Australia, who always revert and say in the past two years, " we're gonna reset this business. But not the right time now."
But they much appreciate all the information I have provided regarding market and product.
You'll always find some business like this. The point is, you've got to keep working on it.
今天Mike群里有个朋友提到了一个潜在客户的回复,她很失落。
Today, a member of my group displayed a feedback from one of her potential customers, which got her very upset.
hi, Fanny,
Ebikes have been banned in many US cities.
Also, competition is strong. Considering some manufacturers already have dozens of models in the market already.
We do not wish to enter the market at this time.

Ya, you are right.
Ebike is banned by many cities, and many suppliers there have been out of this market. But still, some survived and keep earning with this product. Sometimes, it is just about chance.
They get out, you get in, the market itself has killed many competitors for you already. As I know you are very professional in selling motorbikes. Decades of work in this market have earned you good fame and loyal clients. Why not try it?
You can just get yourself a small trial order for the market test.
Mike不是告诉大家写这么一封Email就可以成功拿下客户或者订单,而是告诉大家要珍惜每一次机会,学会如何与客户谈判。
I don't mean to tell you that you can get customers or orders by this single email. What I am trying to say is, you ought to cherish every chance and learn how to negotiate with potential customers.
